Nice, Accurate Scale

I usually find scales very annoying and nothing to talk about as they aren’t accurate and are ugly. Well, at last. This one is really good looking but much more important, accurate and very easy to read, large numbers on a blue background. It has a leveling dot which floats in the display until you are standing balanced, so that each time, the weight is taken correctly. I haven’t programmed it yet, but you don’t have to unless you want to track your weight, otherwise it’s just a regular scale. Put in the battery, tap the surface with your foot to turn it on, wait till 00.0 displays, get on, balance and there’s your weight, get off and it turns off automatically. Very highly recommended.

I seldom leave reviews on products, but this one deserves some positive comments. I have been looking for a laptop table. I use a laptop at least four hours a day, and just hated having it resting on my legs. As I searched for stands, all the reviews on other products were negative. I finally chose this one partly because it was a name brand, and partly because of the cooling fan feature. I also liked the fact that it could fold. I have not been disappointed! It is solid, and holds up my laptop without any strain or difficulty. One point that I think would be helpful to others, is to note that the unfolded size of the table is twice the size listed in the description (the dimensions in the listing are the folded size). It is actually 24″ wide when unfolded. Also, another great positive, the fan is very, very quiet! The mouse pad is textured, and great for placing a pad of paper or pen. It was very easy to set up, and I was using it within 5 minutes of taking it out of the box. Very easy to fold up for traveling. I would recommend this!

I used to make fun of people I saw running with these things on. In all honesty they are silly looking. But for long runs they are a life saver. It takes about two minutes of being on my back before I forget it is there. It is much better than carrying a bottle, and holds about four times as much. It supplies enough water for fifteen miles on a hot day. There is a little pocket on the back that can fit your keys and an ipod, which I prefer to having my ipod strapped to my arm. The pocket is not good for gels or anything that you want to access without having to stop and take the pack off. I think the greatest benefit of Camelbaks is the freedom of not have to plan runs around water breaks. For the price, I really can’t recommend the HydroBak enough.
